Nothing is more important to my photography than noticing. Noticing and responding are the first two steps to making a great photograph. I practice a lot. Walking around Missoula and taking the time to notice has given me increased awareness in my  photojournalism. This page is a visual diary of my practice, split into the elements of things worth noticing. I also add words- observations described in text.
